Pleion is an India-based design and manufacturing studio specializing in sustainable fashion, vintage textiles, handcrafted embellishment and small to large scale production.

Pleion is a house of creation where heritage finds renewal and craftsmanship discovers new meaning. Founded in India, the studio has established itself as one of the country’s foremost names in vintage and handcrafted production, designing and manufacturing garments, accessories, and home décor that bridge the worlds of tradition and modernity. Each product is born from a philosophy of respect, respect for materials, for the artisans who shape them, and for the planet that sustains us. We work with heirloom and recycled textiles, sourcing from villages across India, reviving techniques and presenting them with a contemporary aesthetic for a global audience. From design and sourcing to sampling, bulk production, every service is carried out in-house, giving us the rare ability to maintain both quality and conscience. RESEARCH & DESIGN

Every project begins with in-depth research trends, heritage techniques, fabrics, and surface ornamentation are explored. Our in-house designers translate these insights into sketches and technical drawings, shaping a vision that balances tradition with contemporary aesthetics

SOURCING & MATERIALS

We source fabrics, trims, and embellishments from across India, often using deadstock, heirloom textiles, or eco-friendly materials. This stage ensures that every raw material carries quality, sustainability, and a story, connecting rural artisans to global design.

SAMPLE CREATION & DEVELOPMENT

Initial samples are meticulously crafted to refine fit, design, and detailing. Our team evaluates each piece for visual appeal, construction, and usability, making iterative improvements before approving it for production

We work closely with artisan communities across the country, particularly in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Bengal regions known for their rich textile and embroidery traditions. By partnering with small clusters and independent makers, we aim to support traditional livelihoods while creating handcrafted pieces that carry both cultural depth and modern relevance.
